Outline

Outline is a shape that can be indicated by an edge of a two-dimensional (flat) shape or a three-dimensional form. In the picture to the left, the Mummy Head, created by Henri Gaudier-Brzeska, represents how it doesnt need much detail to the drawing. The outline itself can be quite detailed. The thickness of the lines where the head is, and the thinness of the lines where the mouth and part of the eye shows how the outline can be expressed in many different forms.
